Management Team

Keith Crawford

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

The mental health industry is at that crossroads now where scalability and timely assistance need to be the number one goal. Mental Health Check provides that solution.

Keith Crawford founded Life Support Mental Health Inc., along with Dean Morrison, in 2020 after 3 years spent in the psychological services industry. With over 35 years of experience directing companies from the energy sector to health and fitness, Keith brings an entrepreneurial background to this innovative mental health space. As a Sr. Vice President with LG&E Natural Canada Inc., Keith was a part of the new wave of Canadian oil and gas companies that spent considerable resources in the consolidation and scaling of processes and procedures.

Dean Morrison, CFA

Co-Founder, President & Chief Operating Officer

“My desire to seek challenge and my quest for personal excellence, accountability (both for my actions and those of others), and my growing aspiration to “make a difference” were key contributors to my decision to co-found Life Support Mental Health Inc. in 2020. It is my ambition to ensure individuals have access to the tools, assistance and support they need to face the mounting challenges they face in today’s environment.”

Prior to co-founding Life Support Mental Health in 2020, Dean worked primarily with medium-to-large sized public companies in the areas of business planning and communications and the development of core strategies to maximize shareholder value while balancing the needs and interests of key stakeholders.

Throughout his career, Dean has been passionate about achieving excellence, maximizing employee performance, ensuring process efficiency, and maximizing the return on investment. He brings more than 25 years of broad-based leadership and executive experience in brand management and communications, finance, operations, and business analytics across varied sectors including oil and gas, transportation, real estate, and industrials.

Over the years, Dean has developed a deep understanding and specific expertise in the areas of capital markets (including mergers, acquisitions and corporate structuring), equity sales and marketing, corporate financing, governance and reporting, corporate sourcing and contract negotiation and has led award-winning communications and community and stakeholder relations initiatives.

Dean has proven leadership, organizational and time management skills with significant experience in the management, facilitation, and coordination of cross-functional teams to achieve diverse, far-reaching corporate objectives. Dean also has a strong aptitude for process re-engineering to improve operational efficiencies and transactional effectiveness, problem solving and in-depth financial analysis and project evaluation.

Dean is a past Director and Treasurer for the Alberta Chapter of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute.

Dean holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Finance from the Haskayne School of Business and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
