The MHC portal is an assessment tool designed to screen, measure, and triage individuals to timely, professional mental health support.  

The Problem

There is a major disconnect between mental and medical health providers when it comes to the identification, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues.  

The Solution

A medically delivered, on-line tool that can identify and triage mental health issues for medical health professionals.  

The Process

Medical health professionals (eg. physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, mental health professionals, pharmacists, social workers) are licensed to provide both intake and review of the MHC system. The result of this process is a patient specific report that produces a reading (green, yellow, orange, red) on the individual’s mental health. The MHC system then geo-targets the patient’s home address and provides registered/licensed mental health practitioners with experience for the potential assessed issue(s).   

The Economics

The cost of MHC is covered primarily by employee benefit and employee assistance program providers. All payment and booking logistics are handled by Life Support. 

MHC has been designed to assist medical professionals while creating an economic model outside the confines of the public billing system.

Over 75% of medical health patients present mental health issues that may need immediate support. The MHC portal has partnered with a leading virtual services provider to allow our practitioner networks direct access to a next generation booking, appointment and assessment system. Our portal will subsequently enable medical and mental health professionals within our network to engage and collaborate directly in the care of patients

Is the Mental Health Check a diagnostic tool?

Mental Health Check is strictly an assessment portal that will triage individuals to licensed mental health support. At that time these professionals will provide diagnostic feedback.

What is the cost of an assessment?

Is any information garnered through a Mental Health Check sent to my employer?

No.  The Mental Health Check portal, depending on jurisdiction will follow strict confidentiality regulations and guidelines.  All information garnered through a test is property of the client and the qualified medical/mental health professional and can only be shared in consultation and with consent. In fact, your employer would not even be privy to the fact that you have taken a test.

How long does it take to receive the results from a test?

Test results are instant and would be sent back to your medical/mental health professional for consultation. The MHC system will notify both the client and the medical/mental health professional that results are complete and ready for review. 

How often should I complete a test?

Situations vary but it is suggested that tests are completed annually by any/all individuals.
